History

Economix Research & Consulting Kurt Vogler Ludwig & Partner was founded in the year 2000 by Dr. Nicola Duell and Kurt Vogler-Ludwig in Munich as a partnership association. Dr. Nicola Duell (Düll) and Kurt Vogler Ludwig were both managing partner. 

Dr. Ben Kriechel joined Economix Research & Consulting as a managing partner in 2013. 

In 2023, Economix Research & Consulting underwent restructuring: Kurt Vogler-Ludwig retired, and Economix Research & Consulting Partnership was split up into Economix Research & Consulting Nicola Düll Beratende Volkswirtin, carrying out labour market analysis and assessments of labour market policies and related policies worldwide (using mainly qualitative research approaches and descriptive statistics) and Economics & Data ED23 GmbH, continuing with the quantitative analysis part such as surveys and forecasts (https://www.economicsdata.eu/en/).

Economix Research & Consulting has been cooperating with various research institutions, policy consultancies and independent experts worldwide (see Research Network).

Dr. Nicola Düll (Duell)

Dr. Nicola Düll (Duell) is a co-founder and managing partner of Economix Research & Consulting and has been the director of Economix Research & Consulting – Nicola Düll since 2024. The focus of her research lies in the analysis of labour markets and labour market policies in the EU, the OECD area,emerging economies and developing countries, inequalities and the functioning of welfare systems in Europe, education and training systems, demographic development and international migration, evaluation of the European structural funds, employment relations and human resources management, local economic and labour market development. She is the German correspondent for the European Employment Policy Observatory.

From 2012 to 2015 she was a visiting professor at the University of Applied Sciences Munich and adjunct lecturer at the Munich School of Political Sciences. From 2008-2010 she worked as a senior economist at the OECD and from 1996 to 1999 at the Munich-based Institute for Economic Research (ifo-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung). Since 2011, she has been working as a Short-Term Consultant at the World Bank mainly in Europe and Central Asia, in Africa and the Middle East.
