We carry out studies on economic and employment development at local and regional levels and cover the following issues: the impact of demographic trends on local and regional labour markets, the impact of new technologies and new working methods, commuting and migration from one region to another, the promotion of economic development, evaluation of the European Structural Funds and the European Social Fund, measures to coordinate regional labour market development, and tools to develop a European system of benchmarking regional labour market development.
